Croydon Council required a UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF)-funded business support programme to help local businesses “scale up” through targeted growth assistance. The programme’s support centred on guiding businesses in developing new products and services, entering new markets, and expanding operations to create new job opportunities. The objective was to equip scaling businesses with the tools, resources, and strategies needed to achieve sustainable growth, enhance their market presence, and contribute to the local economy through job creation and innovation.

The Croydon Business Support Programme, is already demonstrating significant impact, with our team halfway to achieving the programme's ambitious targets ahead of its scheduled conclusion in March 2025. Our comprehensive support model—encompassing workshops, networking events, and personalised one-to-one sessions—has empowered local businesses to pursue growth by developing new products, entering fresh markets, and creating job opportunities. Participant feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the programme’s practical value and relevance.
