Haringey Business Support Programme
Our Haringey Business Support Programmes have been running since 2019 supporting hundreds of businesses Borough-wide. Our programmes have identified and engaged those hardest to reach, provided tailored workshops and expert 1-2-1 advisory sessions which equipped local businesses with strategic tools for growth and fostered sustainable economic development in the community.
Haringey Council's requirements for the Business Support Programme centred on delivering high-quality, tailored business advice and support to diverse local business groups. The Council sought an experienced consultant or business support organisation to provide expert-led guidance across key areas, including sustainable growth strategies for established businesses, turnaround support for those impacted by Covid-19, and development assistance for start-ups, those from the global majority, and women-owned businesses.
Additional responsibilities included aiding social enterprises, facilitating commercial space projects, securing funding, and maintaining regular monitoring and reporting. The goal was to foster business growth, job creation, and economic resilience within the borough.

Evolve consultants conducted market research to assess retailers' support needs, confidence, and success expectations. Insights were gathered from 16 independent retail and hospitality businesses to inform the three-phase process.
